Portfolio > Printmaking: Monoprints

A suite of monoprints completed during the summer of 2012.

The embodiment of the female aspect of the Creator, Mother Nut resides as the Mother of the universe in Ancient Egyptian (Khamitic) philosophy. Her placement among the trees reflects her guardianship over all living things, as well as the idea that the "wellness of the world begins in the woman's womb and spreads out like the branches of a tree."-Queen Afua
